Best time and month to visit Seychelles | Is it suitable for Vegetarians?
Landing into Seychelles felt like a dream. Spellbinding beaches, untouched by tourists, secluded forests, crystal clear turquoise waters, and the warm hospitality of the locals which stood out the most. One of my favorite experiences in Seychelles was hiking to the top of a mountain on La Digue Island and looking out at the breathtaking views.
Seychelles is such an off-beat destination that little is known about them. Most travelers often find themselves googling for ‘Is Seychelles good for couples? Is Seychelles suitable for kids? Will I get vegetarian food in Seychelles’?
In this blog, you may find answers to all these questions and many tips about Seychelles travel as we have just come back from a family trip to Seychelles.
Is Seychelles good for couples or Honeymooners?
We saw many more couple travelers and honeymooners in the Seychelles as beaches are more private so one can expect a lot “ME TIME” and can spend ample of time together. Couples can visit many attractions like the beautiful Anse Lazio beach on Praslin island which offers fabulous views, great restaurants, and clear waters. They also offer an Idyllic setting for beach wows, sundowners & photography, you can enjoy your best honeymoon moments in the Seychelles.
Can you travel to Seychelles with kids?
Seychelles is most popular with couples, and then for kids. So there were fewer kids to mingle with. It is still very suitable for kids as they can explore many activities which include Turtle sanctuary, rainforest, Sailing, Kayaking, Snorkelling, and Jet ski. As beaches are powdery, soft, and gentle, they can play with sand, and swing is also available. Sadly, there are no theme parks and kids playgrounds.

Is Seychelles good for Solo traveler?
Solo traveling in Seychelles is total waste as you won’t find many companions here so please avoid going alone, you may get bored.
Is Seychelles vegan-friendly?
Yes, it is vegan-friendly so my one kid is vegetarian by choice and she had an amazing time. Food is not only very fresh, but also very flavourful for the Indian palate. You will many vegan-friendly restaurants in Seychelles which serve lip-smacking vegetarian dishes.
Is it rainy in Seychelles in May?
Yes, mild showers. So the temperature on the island is very warm, while it’s also dry month so any rain is heavy but short-lived. We went in June end, the showers were mild and the sky got cleared out in 1-2 hrs. 1 day was fully cloudy in our 6 day visit though
Tip– Food is expensive here, though portion sizes are large. So include in your package, half board so that you can have flexibility to have lunches on different island or a different beach
Best time to visit Seychelles?
The best time to visit Seychelles is between April and May or October and November as the water temperature is perfect for many beach activities or water sports. Hotel and flight costs also come down so you can enjoy good deals and offers.

What is the expensive month to go to Seychelles?
July to August & December to January months are most expensive as weather is bit warm and no rains in the island so many tourist visit Seychelles.
Please do not plan Seychelles in February, March and June as its either very Hot or Cold, so it will be waste to visit on these months even after having lower prices and offers
Tip– Seychelles is a perfect alternative to Maldives, Bali, Thailand. It’s the best beach destination for a short trip of 7 days, without needing much planning.
