Interestingly, when I first heard the name Churails web series, I mistook it for a horror show, but it definitely is NOT. Storyline of “Churails”

A trophy wife, a wedding planner, a boxer and an ex-murder convict come together and form a detective agency under the guise of fashion boutique and spy on cheating husbands.

The Churails web series revolves around these 4 strong women who have nothing in common but have all been wronged by men. They have now refused to conform to their partner’s sexual escapades, abusive family setup and decided to live life on their own terms. Hence #MainChurailHoon.

Having put their past to rest, the ‘Churails’ now work both with the rich and famous or girl next door to uncover the sexual escapades of their husbands,

The genre of the web series is drama, mystery, thriller and women empowerment.

The performances are powerful.

Sarwat Gilani’s as a lawyer has gone full throttle on high intensity drama, dialogue delivery.

Wedding planner Yasra Rizvi adds in light heartedness and humour.

Nimra Bucha commands a strong screen presence as a murder convict who killed her abusive husband.

The real show stealer however is the young Meher Bano, the boxer.

My Verdict on “Churails” ZEE5 Original Web Series | Exclusive Zindagi Series

The Churails is a bold, beautiful and empowering storytelling. Very unique and one of a kind web series that’s entertaining and at the same time opens up dialogues on lesbian relationships, gender stereotypes amongst others, into main stream conversation.

Overall, a well written and thought-provoking plot. Check out the Churails episodes now on ZEE5 .
